THE ASK - TO REBRAND GHURKA. THE IDEA WAS TO CREATE a 360-DEGREE CAMPAIGN TO LAUNCH THE NEW LOOK AND BRAND IDENTITY. INCLUDING PRINT AND VIDEO FOR WEB AND SOCIAL MEDIA.
THE IDEA - TO CREATE AN UMBRELLA CAMPAIGN SHOWCASING ‘QUALITIES OF A GHURKA’. THIS BEING STRENGTH, COURAGE, WORLDLINESS & INTEGRITY. EACH SEASON GHURKA WOULD ALIGN WITH A BRAND AMBASSADOR, OR A ‘MODERN ADVENTURER’ WHO POSSESSES THESE QUALITIES. CELINE COUSTEAU WAS AN IDEAL CANDIDATE, KNOWN FOR HER FAMILY LEGACY (GRANDDAUGHTER OF JAQUES COUSTEAU) AND FOR CAMPAIGNING FOR SOCIAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND HUMANITARIAN ISSUES. DANIELA CREATED A UNIQUE, CINEMATIC, ELEGANT VISUAL APPROACH. PHOTOGRAPHING THE TALENT IN WIDE OPEN LANDSCAPES, USING CINEMATIC FRAMING AND GRAPHIC SIMPLICITY, WITH SMOKE TO RESEMBLE MIST AND CREATE DEPTH AND TEXTURE.
